A 44-mile circuit over the Bright Angel and Kaibab trails of Arizona’s Grand Canyon approximates the variety and difficulty of the conditions Sam will face on the P.C.T. next fall. With the help of a generous preliminary donation, in January of 2011 Sam led our team into the heart of the Canyon to document his grueling training regime. Using the footage and interviews gathered from the four-day expedition, we have compiled a short film designed to introduce Sam, his goal, and the documentary itself.
